HOME / The Vision

This message explored the heart of the gospel through the story of the prodigal son, reminding us that redemption always wins. We examined how the Father runs to cover us—not just emotionally, but literally stepping into the gap to shield us from the consequences of our choices. This message has profound implications for our spiritual life as we recognize that British Columbia, the most secular province in Canada with 52% reporting no religious affiliation, represents a harvest field full of hurting, over-churched, and wandering people who need to come home. We're being called not just to say "come" but to actively "go" after those who have wandered from God's truth. This requires us to be offensively redemptive, preparing our hearts and our house for the harvest that's coming.

Takeaways:

What you've lost doesn't define who you are. No matter how far we've wandered or what we've squandered, the Father still sees us as His sons and daughters. He runs to meet us, covers us with honor instead of shame, and welcomes us home with authority and freedom. The walk of grace is harder than the walk of shame, but it's worth celebrating when someone shows up.

We must go, not just invite people to come. Psalm 122:1 says, "I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord." Notice the power of "they" and "us"—it takes people intentionally reaching out, inviting, and walking alongside others. Don't give up on the seeds you've already planted. Write down three names of people you'll pray for and invite this year.

Prepare a place, and God will fill it. We're launching holistic discipleship—a whole-life framework centered on helping people find God (personal devotion, weekend services), find friends (connect groups, community), and find purpose (teams, leadership development). God dwells in prepared places, so we're stepping out in faith through Vision Builders and intentional systems to care for the harvest before it arrives.

Let's engage together. Turn the key. Put our foot on the gas. Don't wait for perfect conditions. There's a sound about to come out of this house, and we believe we're going to see generations streaming in—prodigals returning, families being redeemed, and people finding their God-given purpose.
